Jane has been involved with the breed since meeting up with Peter Damarell in 1991 when she became a partner in Vonpeta Kennels which was established in 1973.  The kennel has bred 17 Excellent graded animals, 3 class winners at National Shows and in excess of 20 Australian Champions.

Since becoming a member of the GSDC of SA Inc, Jane was lured to a Committee position to look after the “Social” portfolio for two years.  After being elected as Treasurer she served one year of her term before taking a break.  Currently Jane has held this position since 2001.  She is currently a Trainee Group 5 Judge and as a day job she is employed as a Finance/Administration Officer.
